‏Iraqi Group Participates in Discussion Session on Arab-Kurdish Relations

The Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs participated in the discussion session organized by the Arab Thought Forum in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on “Arab-Kurdish Relations” and ways to enhance them through joint cultural and humanitarian cooperation, with the attendance of a number of political, cultural and academic figures from various countries. The discussions focused on the importance of strengthening relations between Arabs and Kurds through cultural and intellectual cooperation.

‏For their part, the Iraqi Group delegation stressed the importance of building bridges of cooperation between the Arab and Kurdish societies, noting that this cooperation is not limited to political fields only, but extends to culture, arts and sciences, which contributes to enhancing mutual understanding and strengthening human ties between the peoples of the region. The vital role played by intellectual meetings and dialogue forums in enhancing this cooperation was also emphasized, stressing the need to exchange experiences and knowledge between different cultures in our region.

‏The session concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing Arab-Kurdish cooperation in the fields of culture and thought, in addition to calling on intellectual and educational institutions to adopt joint programs that enhance cultural exchange and scientific research
