The Iraqi group participates in a symposium on Iraqi-Chinese relations

Members of the Iraqi Foreign Affairs Group participated in the symposium held by the Al-Bayan Center for Studies and Planning, on Monday, May 27, 2024, entitled: “Iraqi-Chinese relations: a vision of sustainable cooperation and partnership diplomacy,” on the occasion of the two decades since the founding of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum.
The statement hosted the Chinese Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Cui Wei, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hisham Al-Alawi, and the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Foreign Relations, Mr. Farhad Alaeddin.
The symposium dealt with three main topics, two decades since the establishment of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum: partnership relations and collective cooperation diplomacy, Iraqi-Chinese relations, towards a sustainable partnership, and talk about the location of the Silk Roads and development on the international transport map.
A large number of academics, researchers and think tanks participated in the symposium.
