‏Signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Iraqi Group and the Arab Peace Group

In an important step to enhance joint cooperation in the field of peace and security, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the Jordanian capital, Amman, between the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs and the Arab Peace Group.

‏This memorandum aims to implement a set of programs and initiatives that enhance stability in countries experiencing conflicts and disputes. This initiative comes at a very important time, as many Arab countries are witnessing increasing security and political challenges. The memorandum seeks to establish effective mechanisms to enhance joint cooperation in the face of these challenges, in addition to opening up horizons for cooperation between political and diplomatic frameworks with the aim of settling disputes and developing peaceful solutions according to Track II diplomacy.

‏Through this initiative, the two sides hope that the memorandum will contribute significantly to enhancing regional stability and achieving peace and sustainable development in the region.

‏The memorandum was signed by Mr.Samir Al-Habashneh, Secretary-General of the Arab Peace Group, and Mr.Yousif Al-Mohsen General Coordinator of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs.
