Members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr.Fuad Hussein in Baghdad.
During the meeting, they discussed the importance of think tanks in providing advice and proposals to decision-makers in governmental and non-governmental institutions, contributing to the formulation of an effective foreign policy that serves the country’s supreme interests and supports Iraq’s position in regional and international forums.
The meeting also addressed a number of issues of common interest, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments.
For his part, Minister Hussein praised the efforts of the members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs in strengthening Iraq’s presence on the regional and international arenas, within the framework of Track II diplomacy.
