Members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs met with His Beatitude Patriarch Cardinal Louis Raphael Sako, Patriarch of the Chaldean Catholic Church in Iraq and the World, on Monday 16 September 2024 at the Patriarchal Palace in Baghdad.
They discussed ways and mechanisms of communicating with the Iraqi Christian communities in the European and international diaspora countries in a way that achieves a connection and connection between the interior and the exterior in order to reach an effective foreign policy that achieves the highest interest of the country.
For his part, Cardinal Sako welcomed the Iraqi group, appreciating their national project, wishing them success in their work tasks, and stressing the importance of the media in educating the new generation and emphasizing belonging to the homeland and achieving citizenship.
