Members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs met with Dr. Kamal Kharrazi, Chairman of the Iranian Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, on the sidelines of the Arab-Iranian Dialogue Forum held in Doha.
The two sides discussed prospects for joint cooperation and exchanged views on the most prominent current regional and international challenges. They emphasized the importance of strengthening dialogue between intellectual and political elites in the region, which would contribute to consolidating stability and building a common understanding, especially in light of the rapid changes in the region.
This meeting comes within the framework of the Iraqi Group’s efforts to activate Track II diplomacy, strengthen bridges of trust, and formulate shared future visions that serve the security and stability of Iraq and the region.
