Members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs met with the former PM and Vice President of the Council of Arab and International Relations Dr.Ayad Allawi.
At the beginning of the meeting, the members of the Iraqi Group gave a brief explanation of the group’s work, goals, and future plans. For his part, Dr. Allawi blessed the step of forming the group, describing it as a strategic project.
The meeting witnessed a discussion of the latest developments in the situation in the region and their effects on Iraq, in addition to the importance of foreign relations because of their repercussions that reflect positively on the overall situation in Iraq.
The importance of investing in all possible tools to achieve an effective foreign policy was also emphasized during the meeting.
