Members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs met with His Excellency the Russian Ambassador to Iraq Albrus Kutrashev on Tuesday 24 July 2024.
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the two sides on a number of issues of common interest in the field of foreign affairs, based on the activation of Track II diplomacy, and in a way that strengthens Iraq’s position in foreign policy regionally and internationally.
The latest developments in the region and their impact on the security and stability of Iraq were also discussed.
