Members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs met with National Security Advisor Mr. Qasim Al-Araji in Baghdad.
During the meeting, they discussed the importance of think tanks in providing advice and proposals to decision-makers in governmental and non-governmental institutions, with the aim of formulating an effective foreign policy that contributes to achieving the country’s highest interests. The pivotal role of these centers in strengthening Iraq’s position in regional and international forums was also emphasized.
For his part, Mr. Al-Araji praised the efforts of the members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs in supporting Iraq’s presence at the regional and international levels, within the framework of Track II diplomacy.
The meeting also addressed the latest developments in Iraq and discussed developments in the region.
