Mr. Yousif Almohseen, General Coordinator of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs, participated as a keynote speaker in the third session of the 7th Annual Forum of the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat), held in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The session was dedicated to the theme: “Future Tools: Data, Analysis, and Foresight in Service of Policies.”
The session discussed the role of data, strategic foresight, and artificial intelligence applications in supporting decision-making processes and enhancing the readiness of public policies to face future challenges. The event saw the participation of a distinguished group of think tank heads, experts, and researchers from various countries.
During his intervention, Almohseen emphasized the importance of employing advanced analysis and foresight tools to build more effective and sustainable public policies. He stressed the pivotal role that think tanks play in supporting decision-makers and enhancing the integration between scientific research and policy formulation.
This participation comes within the framework of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs’ commitment to strengthening its presence in regional forums and contributing to specialized dialogue on the future of public policies and their development tools.
