Members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Dr. Ali Al-Alaq, in Baghdad.
During the meeting, they discussed the importance of think tanks in providing advice and proposals to decision-makers in governmental and non-governmental institutions. This contributes to formulating an effective foreign policy that serves the country’s best interests and supports Iraq’s position in regional and international forums.
For his part, Governor Al-Alaq praised the efforts of the members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs in strengthening Iraq’s presence on the regional and international arenas, within the framework of Track II diplomacy.
