Members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs met with the Acting Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, on Sunday, May 12, 2024, in Baghdad.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency congratulated the establishment of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs and praised the visions and ideas it offers, which contribute to the development of the country’s foreign policy. He also emphasized the importance of expanding the work of the Iraqi Group in the coming phase by activating Track II diplomacy, in order to achieve an effective foreign policy that enhances stability, fosters development, and brings economic and trade benefits to the country.
The members of the delegation also presented the work of the Iraqi Group, its objectives, and future plans.
