Members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs met with the Chief Justice of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Munther Ibrahim Hussein, in Baghdad.
The meeting addressed the importance of think tanks in providing advice and proposals to decision-makers in governmental and non-governmental institutions, with the aim of formulating an effective foreign policy that contributes to achieving the country’s highest interests. The role of these centers in strengthening Iraq’s position in regional and international forums was also emphasized.
For his part, the Chief Justice praised the efforts of the members of the Iraqi Group for Foreign Affairs in strengthening Iraq’s presence at the regional and international levels, emphasizing the importance of Track II diplomacy as a supportive tributary to official policy.
